Florida is known for its vibrant communities, beautiful landscapes, and a high quality of life. However, the push for marijuana legalization poses significant threats to public health and safety. Research indicates that increased marijuana availability and commercialization can lead to higher rates of addiction, impaired driving incidents, mental health issues, and negative impacts on youth, pregnant and breastfeeding women and vulnerable populations.
We believe that by working together, we can prevent these potential harms and maintain the integrity and prosperity of our state. Our coalition is committed to preserving Florida as a safe, healthy, and thriving paradise for all its residents.
Don’t Let Florida Go to Pot: Preserve Paradise is a grassroots coalition dedicated to educating individuals and communities about the potential harms associated with the legalization and commercialization of marijuana. Our members come from diverse backgrounds, including prevention specialists, healthcare professionals, educators, law enforcement officers, and concerned citizens, united by a common goal: to safeguard the health and well-being of Floridians and preserve the unique beauty and quality of life in our state.

marijuana use and the realities of its commercialization. - Community Outreach: Our team engages with local communities through workshops, seminars,
and events to discuss the impacts of marijuana legalization. - Resource Provision: We offer educational materials, support services, and resources for
individuals and families affected by marijuana use.
